Our company has successfully completed a project on developing a prototype of a multi-agent system for planning feed delivery to production sites of Tambov Bacon (Rusagro corporation).
The system solves the complex problem of feed distribution, which is similar in its formulation to the traveling salesman task, but taking into account specific features of topology and business processes of the customer’s network, parameters of multi-section trucks, time preferences and restrictions, etc.
The purpose of the prototype is to show the advantages of multi-agent technologies and knowledge bases for solving complex logistics problems that require taking into account numerous, sometimes conflicting business requirements.
During tests on historical data, the prototype showed up to 10% increase in efficiency of using the enterprise transport resources.
